Today, I want to shallowly explore the world of vitamins. Vitamins are essential for growth and nutrition for our bodies. These essential nutrients are elements that can not be created by the body. Vitamins can be found in many fresh fruits and vegetables as well as animal by products. You will most popularly find vitamins in its synthetic created pill form.
Vitamins are a very important ingredient for healthy living. Vitamins such as vitamin C found in many citrus fruits and select vegetables is used to help you grow and repair tissue all over your body. Vitamin K helps your blood clot and can be found in leafy vegetables, cheeses, eggs and meats. Vitamin D is the most easily obtainable vitamin being that it is absorbed from the sun. By spending sometime outside you can help your body absorb calcium and maintain strong bones.
The benefit of vitamins is a far greater topic than any one post could do the subject justice. I decided to speak about its importance today because I believe that you all should get to know the amazing world of vitamins and what they do for your body. Our day to day lives can be very hectic and time consuming, so much that we forget to take notice of all the amazing nutrients that we intake everyday. With that being said we must remember that vitamin and mineral deficiencies can be a serious health risk. I suggest and push all of you to talk to your doctors and health providers about testing you for any nutrient deficiencies. The more you know about your body and the things that it needs, the healthier you will be and the easier you will make your healthier living journey.
